Ji Seon  Kim

I have spent the past 5 years walking alongside students as they navigate one of the most stressful times in their lives. I have always loved working with students: tutoring as a high schooler, helping first year students adjust to college, and volunteering extensively at schools. After being sidetracked by a career in law, I eventually returned to my passion of helping students reach their full potential.

  • 1. Listen

Listen to students to learn who they are and to understand their goals.
  •  2. REVIEW

Review transcripts,  standardized test scores, and extracurricular activities.
  • 3. PLAN

Select colleges and majors with the best "fit". Strategize if, where, and how to apply "early" to a college.  Create deadlines to ensure the completion of applications with minimal stress.
  • 4. EXECUTE

Assist with generating ideas and editing essays that are fully owned by the student. Assist with completing applications, obtaining recommendation letters, and preparing for interviews. Answer questions, listen to concerns, and provide comfort and support via text, email, video conferencing, and of course, in person to help make the process as enjoyable as possible.
